If I wanted to get tickets for a game...

Okay, I don't post here very often due to the disagreements that I've had with some members and being called a bandwagon jumper just because I don't have 5000 posts on this site (couldn't be further from the truth).
However, I need two tickets for a game in March and the only way I can get a pair through ticketmaster is in the sport check zone. I can't post in the ticket exchange due to not having 100 posts and I don't want to become a post-whore just to reach 100 posts, so I'm asking:
Is there another good source for buying tickets? I've checked Ebay but there's nothing posted for that game and I'd rather have the tickets in hand. I'm not posting which game in hopes that this thread won't get locked by the moderators-nor am I being malicious about it towards the moderators as I can see why they have their policy to keep the scalpers away. If you have any suggestions, Let me know.

You can try a site like www.stubhub.com. Expect to pay scalper prices however. There are other similar services as well which some of the other posters may know of.

My friend an I give away (sell at a discount) our tickets every once in a while as do many people on this site. You can always chck the 'Buy and Sell' section of this site. Site rules prevent scalping.

You don't need to post in the Buy and Sell Forum. You can just send a private message to the person who is selling the tickets

The OP was very careful not to circumvent the rules regarding people under 100 posts by not getting into specifics. As it stands this thread is close to the line between what we allow and what we don't. But because of his respect for the rules I've allowed it to stay.

General info on ticket sales is OK, and if somebody wants to get into specifics with an under 100 poster, then please take it to PM.

Can't see the post numbers with the new exp graphics, but I take it less than one red square is less than 100 posts?

Re: Lucky Boy, wasn't saying he or anyone needed to post on that board, just to check it out as sometimes people get rid of them on there.
