Some pictures of the day we had on Gull Lake, not a bad day if I do say so. Seen some perch too but the little buggers wouldnt bite anything we threw down at them.

My buddy Cams first ever Pike....Im gonna chaulk it up as beginners luck

Nice Fish, I have never iced fish for Pike are they good fighters? I know reeling in a trout is like landing a boot not fight in them at all in the cold water

Great pictures, Gundo. I sometimes fly to my brothers place in Minnesota and we go ice fishing for walleye on lake Mille Lacs. Nice fish btw.

It seems weird that you seem to have the same fishes there as finland. Never gotten a Common whitefish, heard they are quite easily scared. They taste awesome when smoked, as do perches too.
Burbot, i think it is that on the picture tastes great on a soup.

And a recipe to Pike:

Make a bed from thin wood. Put the pike on the bed, and leave it to dry for a week. Take te pike and throw it to the fire that is made from the same woods. Open up a sausage package and cook them on fire. Enjoy.
