I find I get LOADS of timeout messages on suprnova.org...and it seems quite slow. Just wondering what else you guys use?

man I keep getting this "Problem connecting to tracker" error. What does that mean? It's taken me 3 days to download a season of the sopranos because that message always pops up when the transfer rate gets low. iS there something I need to do to fix it?

You might want to edit that post to dowload something lol...

Try looking into your firewall settings, router settings, and network settings if the exisit. Ports in firewalls and routers sometimes need to be opened etc..

Hey i think Shaw zapped me. Since i'm cancelling them and going to Telus i've uploaded more than 1500gigs in the past 3 weeks. hehehe.

You could go Shaw Extreme. It's 10 bucks a month more and they are not monitoring down/uploads.

Umm, I don't know man. Although 3 days for an entire season doesn't sound that bad to me.

Suprnova as well.

Try downloading a new BitTorrent Client, I personally use BitTornado and it works wonders for me. Absolutely no problems downloading.

Don't be picky about speed, you are getting it for free. Who cares if it takes a day or 2.

well it's not so much the speed as it is the error that comes up and the thing ceases to download until you hit OK and then it will do they same thing 2 minutes later. It makes it impossible to leave the PC.

Actually, it downloads while the message is there. You can leave it for a while and when you click okay, you'll notice the % finished jump up suddenly.

They at first send you email warnings saying you are using to much bandwidth and to stop it. After that they restrict your bandwidth. It's so slow but i'm going to going to Telus next week.

I know Telus totally sucks with their customer service, hours of waiting on the phone but my cousin works there and i get 30% off. hehe

I wondered about that.

Do you if thats going to change? For an extra $10 thats not bad. Can you tell the difference with the Extreme?

Ah, okay. Now I understand what is going on.

It happens with me alot Deelow. But ya, it continues to download regardless of if you press okay or not.

That's hilarious, what a bunch of peons. I have been downloading alot lately, I suppose I should ease up.

Although I figure you have to be a pretty high downloader for a while before they catch on.
