Default Belkin Tech Support

Are they truly that dense??? Reset to factory defaults?? WTF?
Lose all my settings will get me a static route??

(Anyone know if a Belkin F5D7320 router supports static routes?)

Here's what I sent their tech support:

I want to add a static route. All computers on wireless through
this router that try to access 182.3.100.63 should be routed to
192.168.2.100 on the internal network.

How can I add this static route? Is this router capable of static
routes?

Thanks,
ers

Here's what I got back...

Thank you for contacting Belkin Technical Support.

We understand that you would like to assign a static IP address on the computer.

To resolve the issue, please reset your router to factory defaults by following these steps:

- Hold down the reset button on the back of the router for 15 seconds (use a paper clip).
- The power light will flash and then come back ON solid, indicating that the router is being restored to factory defaults.
- Then, log on to the router web interface at http://192.168.2.1

If you need further assistance please feel free to write back to us and we will be happy to assist you.
