I have a 5 year old Bichon frise.

He's friendly but sometimes he can be grumpy and have a mood swing.

What would be a good dog to bring into my house. Which one will get along with my Bichon frise?

I recommend a feral pitbull. I hear they get along great with bichons.

I wouldn't worry about the Bichon Frise.

Find another dog that is suitable for your own lifestyle.

The dogs will work out their society from there.

Get a Samoyed,

If you thought the Bichon Frise required grooming a Sammy will certainly change your opinion on that! In all honesty though my Samoyed has to be the best natured dog I've ever encountered, he never barks at other dogs and want's to be friends with everyone. He's never met another dog he didn't want to play with and even get's along with the cats. Still he likes to dig, and requires a lot of effort to keep groomed and clean.

Miniature Schnauzer. Good indoor dog, doesn't shed, fairly playful when they aren't sleeping. Need their walks, but all dogs do. Very friendly too (when trained right).

Oh, and nice looking dogs too...here's mine: my dog

But they always get that gross yellowy-brown stain around their lips.

I would get a "Pedro Martinez" dog. He seems to be the Yankees bitch.

speaking of which, Im pretty glad Ontario did what Alberta should have done a while ago IMO.

Im an animal lover no doubt, but these dogs are way too unpredictable to be trusted by the public to train them properly.
