Last night they had their online boxing day sale at 8pm EST I was there, I found my item, they had 56 in stock, I add to cart and from there the site just dies... WTF I wanted to check out so bad because it was a great deal... Save me $500 kind of deal.

Fine system bestbuy has in place... bravo.

They add more stock periodically. Keep checking. They had more Xbox's as of this morning.

Yeah, I remember last year it happened to me when I ordered a few things.

When I went to check out which took like an hour with all the traffic it said that Need For Speed: Most Wanted was out of stock. I was ****ed and sent them an angry email which they responded back telling me they were sorry but told me to check back as they may get more. Sure enough the next morning I got up and checked and there were more in stock.

Fortunately for me this year even though the site was just as busy as it always is during the Boxing Day sale I was able to get Gears of War without any problems.

I missed out on the Gears of War deal.

My uncle and I were on the website before 6pm, and kept refreshing until it was a go. Wasn't able to add anything to my "cart" until we finished dinner. Around 7pm, the error messages went away and we were able to add stuff, but then had to wait to checkout. LOL.. Took another hour or so, and finally got through.

I went on again this morning, and everything was done in less than 5mins. Go figure. I was able to get some stuff I couldn't last night.

Damn this sucks. I really want to order some games but I can't because I haven't received the other half of my Xmas gifts yet so I don't know what I already have.

I was looking at a TV... I still have it in my cart so hopefully they get re-stocked so I can still get it for that price.

Nope, that's what I got it for. Regularly it's $69.99 though sometimes it sells for $64.99.

I got screwed at Futureshop also. their site crashes and other people were somehow able to finish their checkouts and took an ipod right out of my cart. Their websites were not close to ready to handle the traffic they saw last night. Oh well. Sucks to be us.

I was in at Bestbuy yesterday and I was shocked to see they had 2 left of the TV I wanted! Same price and it's a beauty for a CRT HDTV! Blows my 26" Toshiba out of the water.

How is it Jordan? I'm in the market for a TV right now (have been for 3 years to be honest). But whenever I go to buy one there are so many choices I can't figure out what to buy and end up walking out with nothing.

I'm in the same boat as you Jiri. We desperately need a new TV upstairs but the prospect of buying one scares the crap out of me.

Personally, I still like the tube's we have a 52" DLP which is really nice but It's too expensive, I prefer Tube to LCD even to me it's just alot brighter.

They are heavy as hell though... But this Samsung is fantastic. Bestbuy Deerfoot had 4 left as of last night. for the price you won't find a better TV.

oh ya, tubes have better picture than a rear projection DLP.. they are bigger, heavier etc. I just like the look of a wall mounted LCD or plasma. I've got a 27" LCD HDTV right now.
