Prairie Winds park in the NE...they have the big man-mad hill up there. Also just off of Ogden Rd and Glenmore, on the north side of the glenmore inn parking lot there is a great hill there as well. Neither of them run towards roads which is a good thing

Maybe it's not as great as a I remember it, but Ramsey Elementary School has a wicked hill. Do you know when you are looking at downtown Calgary from the top of Scotchmans Hill? Well the other side of that big ass slope is what Im talking about. It's long and has some killer natural jumps....got winded there many a time as a kid, and loved every minute of it.

That's just wrong. I don't know what's worse man-made hills or lakes. *sigh*

The Maple Ridge golf course in the SE has a few nice hills. Went tobogganing there as a youth.

And then there is the good ol' City of Calgary, which apparently has nothing better to do.

The man-made hill at Lake Bonavista was the best place (at least it was in the 1970s).

There's a pretty good hill in Edgemont, just off John Laurie Blvd & Edgemont Drive. Just watch out for the rink at the bottom of the hill

Somewhere in Woodlands/Woodbine is a nice trail that goes into Fish Creak Park. It's about 1.5 meters wide, few turns. Had a lot of races on that hill, pushing others into the trees Well, not good a good option for you...

It was about a five minute walk from my place while growing up. Good hill. And there's a pretty sweet rink about a stone's throw to the east. Nice little area.
