Once I saw Mello out for his 15 games, this was the first thing I thought of. I wonder after the comments Coach Karl made about Isiah's attitude, how he's gonna be able to handle AI.

They're a 1-2 team. I wanna know how two shoot first players are going to co-exist on the team. It's fairly obvious Anthony's gonna take a back seat to Iverson, and that's where the fireworks, cheapshots and pouting will take place on Carmelo's behalf. Also, it doesn't sound like much, but with probably the league's 4th best ball distributer in Andre Miller gone, how many points will Carmelo score? They're better, but 2 huge ego's and not enough place, how's it going to work out?

it will be interesting seeing how they coexist, being the two leading scorers on the league right now. Denver has got some nice pieces; a quality center in Camby, a good pf in Nene if he ever gets off the IL, and Melo, AI, and JR Smith in the frontcourt. That is a high powered offensive team, but gotta wonder how the offense will run, no one there is really a team first player, except maybe Camby but the offense wont be runnning through him.

This is a team that is going to be fun to watch. It'll be a high octane offence. Iverson and Carmelo will co-exist because Allen wants to win a championship. Carmelo wants to win a championship too. They know that sharing will be vital to their success. They will NOT win a championship in Denver because of the number of real contenders in the conference: Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. However. it will push Denver to the higher echelon of teams in the league. Yes, Iverson has been deemed as a selfish player his entire pro career. But he has never played with anyone remotely considered a #2 option. Stackhouse, an old Derrick Coleman (however, had great stats, but wasn't a difference in the game), Larry Hughes before his breakout season in Washington, Aaron Mckie, Eric Snow and a rickety, Chris Webber. They are capable of being great teammates. Now Iverson has a superstar to pass to, who will score, who he will trust with the ball. Iverson NEVER trusted his previous teammates. I don't applaud him for it, but it's the truth. He will trust Carmelo. Co-exsisting is half the battle; It will not take long to overcome that.

Allen Iverson, I believe, will be the one who takes a backseat to Mello. That bolded statement sums up why. He was a very selfish, immature player is his earlier years, but he's definitely matured. His assists have soared the last couple years. Chemistry will be an issue this season, but next season, watch out.
The reason he shot so much in Philly was because there was no one else who could shoot. The offense was revolved around him, and he got most of the shots -- as such, he was deemed a ballhog.
On the Philly side, they have no scorer now. They have no one who can be depended on to score more than 20 pts in each game. It's scary bad.
Draft season can't come soon enough.

I haven't followed the NBA very much and the last few seasons and my god I can't believe their amount of player movement. So many superstars are so easily uprooted and moved. Are there zero loyalty in the NBA from the management and the players?

Salary cap. NHL is that way too now. So if NFL. NBA's cap is actually a little bit more flexible in some ways (but more restrictive in others).
