Take the 20 bucks and buy as many burgers as you can from McDonalds and take them all to some homeless people. If you give them food, they have no choice but to eat, but if you just give them the cash, they could buy booze with it, or something else that isn't quite as important as food.

Good ones, and the SPCA'd be a good choice, too.

Wow that's pretty nice of you to not keep it, can't say I'd do the same.
I like everyone's idea of giving it to the Salvation Army.
Or you could donate your $20 to MADD which amounts to about a $3.80 donation.

Over the years I have found every different bill up to a C-note (and one of them got scooped out of my wallet when I dropped it back in BC). Another time I found one in the candy section right below the till in the Shoppers in Marlborough. I assumed one of the previous people had dropped it and gave it to the teller. Doubt that one ever found its original owner.
Recently I was going into the Mac's by Chinook and there was a girl sitting by the door asking for change. I had none on me. In fact I was going into the store only to use the bank machine. But I have enough change in my glove box that I probably should get better shocks.
Normally I don't cater to panhandlers, but something wasn't right about this one. And it was Thanksgiving Day.
I folded up a twenty and gave it to her on my way out saying "Go get yourself a meal." She thanked me as I walked away. When I drove away she was still staring down at it, dumbfounded.
Hope she got a bite to eat, and her luck has changed. Maybe you will find a time to send some good luck someones way.

I keep all money I find laying on the ground, street, ect. Unless I see where it came from. For all I know it could've blown down in the wind a few blocks.
I chalk it up to fate making the $20 making it's way to me. I gots bills to pay!
