The Jets are pleased to announce that goaltender Pascal LeClaire has signed a new 3 year deal to stay with the Jets. Terms of the deal were not released.
"Pascal is a good young tender and the plan is to rebuild this team around him" GM Walsh said.
The entire team has struggled this year but Pascal is the key ingredient in this team returning to the playoffs in a year or 2.

The Tampa Bay Lightning would also like to thank Spike for smooth negotiations with Jeff Hamilton. The journeyman AHLer has been having a breakout year with the NHL Hawks and was rewarded with a 3 year deal today.
The Nordique would like to thank Spike for nothing. The negotiations on signing nothing went very smooth. The smoothest negotaitions we've had in some time. Next time I'd like to negotiate for nothing, I'm coming straight to Spike for nothing. He's good for it.
