Certificate at SAIT

Has anyone done the Petroleum Land Aministration Certificate @ SAIT? Would like to know the benefits of doing this, i.e like job opportunties would they be increased?

My cousin took land admin and got a job before she was finished the course.

Drastically, hugely increased. You could probably get a job starting at at least $35k, though I started considerably higher, I'm doing Land Admin myself while I train for Land Agent. I've heard a lot of people say the Mount Royal program is better than SAIT though... a LOT of people, though I'm not exactly sure why.

I've considered going into the program because I want a change from what I am doing now. Just a quick question. What is the guarentee that you can get a job in Calgary? I don't want to leave the city.

For Land Admin I think you're probably guarenteed to get a job. Most Land Admin (oil & gas) jobs in the province (if not country) are probably in Calgary.
