Default Oregon Trail

Anyone remember how to load this game in an Apple II? Taking a walk down memory lane is hard when you don't know how to start the program!

Didn't it just used to be boot from the floppy with the game on it and it loaded?

I love those old educational games.

I found and downloaded Cross Country Canada not to long ago. Went kinda like this...

"You need Wheat"
>Drive to Calgary
"Your truck is not turned on"
>Turn on Truck
>Drive to Calgary
"It is too dark out to see
>Turn on headlights
>Drive to Calgary
"It is raining. You can't see"
>Turn on wipers
>Drive to Calgary
"You have been in an accident"
"Game Over"

Good times.

Anyone remember a math related game that involved navigating a sub through a cave? For the life of me, I can't remember what it was called.

Firefly deserves some skill for this thread. Most obscure question ever asked on CP. Any chance you have a copy of Number Munchers laying around?

Oregon Trail, Cross Country Canada, and Number Munchers!

Oregon Trail: Jake got bit by a snake, your oxe broke his leg, lol.

Cross Country Canada: FB Santangelay i'm on my way, i'm on my way (tow truck)

Number Munchers: that crazy dude that was after you, and you'd go up and down the elevators as a furball........lol good times!!!!!

Oregon Trail...man that was the CRAZY in my Elementary....althought I've completely forgot most aspects of it, until of course our resident Oiler fan reminded me.

Don't forget Odell Lake. Be the fish, whatever you do avoid the Osprey.

The thing I remember about Oregon Trail was that me and all my friends used to give the women names of girls or models/actresses we liked and then we didnt give them any clothing.
