Hey, look at it this way. At least you get to see hockey commericials on TV, even if they are Canuck ones. It could be worse.

Although, I'm not sure I'd want to see Canuck commericials either....

An Oilers commercial? The Canuck ones are so annoying. I guess thats what you get though when you have an owner that owns a marketing company of some kind.

The Oiler commericial on Sportsnet West makes me laugh.

They've got some white trash who made his own youtube video saying something like "Hey Burke, first we took Penner from you, now we're gonna take the cup from you".

Yeah, the Canuck commercials on the radio and tv piss me off too, but I accepted that when I moved here. This what you have to deal with living behind enemy lines.

Not that I have a problem with a team playing a commercial in its designated region however the whole “we are all Canucks” is just a stupid solgan or any “we are all ______” for that matter

How are you a Canuck? Do you play for the team? Does the Vancouver Canucks organization pay you for your services? Are you affiliated with the team in anyway other than the stuff your own with there name on it and being a fan? No. if you where I bet you ask Roberto Luongo for his autograph or pay upwards of 100 dollars to watch the Canucks play considering you are one yourself

Stupid, unintelligent, lazy excuse for a slogan

there is a guy at my work who has a towel with a "we are all canucks slogan on it". When I leave that office I'm going to put a Flames poster underneath saying "But we really wish we were Flames fans"

Because we're all Canadian?

I'm the first person to dump all over the Canucks, but I understand this one.

Although I find the campaign annoying, I can appreciate that it's a good one.

If that is the underlying intention of there slogan it would far more appropriate for Montreal to us it because we are all Canadian's right?

But they don’t probably because the realize how ridiculously stupid it is

It's an absolutely terrible marketing campaign. Reminds me of the Flames' "young guns" marketing machine. We are all Canucks? Who is "we"? How do you define "Canuck"? What if I don't want to be one? Why does that lady make it sound so revelatory and significant? It's a load of carp.

It's not that bad. "We", would be canuck fans obviously. And a canuck is a Canadian. But in this sense they're talking about the hockey team. And if you don't want to be one, then don't.

I think they're just trying to bring comradery to the team and their fans.

I could see how it would get annoying after a while though.
