The Islanders have acquired defenceman Brett Hedican from the Winnipeg Jets. Moving to Winnipeg is young forward Nik Antropov. The Islanders add a boost to their defence, while the Jets get another young forward to add to their ranks.

The Jets have traded captain Brett Hedican to the Noobs for Nik the human pretzel Antropov.



Probably an even trade, the Jets get a forward who is 10 years younger than the defenceman going the other way.
