Well the team played a decent game, but just didn't get the goaltending that our opposition did. Outshoot them 26 to 25 despite having to rest two of our better forwards, but we gave up one too many PP goals against. I guess Don Shula will be giving his motivational speaches in Raleigh, not Columbus.

O M G

Shameful

Both goalies near death, one from injury and the other one got hit in the head with a beer bottle from a PO'd fan.

Brutal game

Howl!

Curtis Joseph fell asleep for 0:20 seconds in the 1st period and the Leafs scored two goals on him. For the rest of the game he was briliant capturing the gamers 2nd star! The Yotes rallied with 2 goals in the 2nd period to force a 2-2 tie with the Buds.

Poor Andy Sutton was slightly injured at 12:27 of the 2nd period when Raffi Torres tried to hump his leg. Sutton gave himself a temporary charley horse shaking the little pervert off.

Sutton is expected to play tonight against the Sharks.

Sillinger gets moved back up to the first line and responds with two goals and two helpers. Huet improves to 6-1-1 and is making a case for the starting role. Good performance by the Avs.

Leafs tie Yotes in Toronto.

Pretty even game all around. Both teams had around 30 shots and 5 power plays. Leafs scored early and then the Yotes came back later in the game.

The Leafs special teams have been pretty bad this year. 0 for 5 tonight on the PP. We've also been terrible on home ice. Dunno why?

Ha ha, thats Gold. That little jerk would shag a warm scarf in the penalty box if it was there.

Hmmmm, nice win but the injury to Simon Gagne hurts.

...and in the streets they cry:

EDDIE, EDDIE, EDDIE!

Eddie Belfour! What more can you say! The guy has now played just as many games as Fernandez on the year and has a pretty impressive record to show for it!

9-3-2-1

Fernandez FINALLY got back to 100% and will now be ready to go next game when the Panthers face off against the Avalanche in the GAME OF THE WEEK!

In other news the Panthers killed the Hawks on Tuesday night and got scoring from every line. Todd White is a 3rd line machine!

Goalie Statistics Ryan Miller (HAW), 13 saves out of 17 shots, L, 8-11-0
Sean Burke (HAW), 5 saves out of 10 shots
Ed Belfour (PAN), 27 saves out of 28 shots, W, 9-3-2

Power Play Conversions
HAWKS 1 for 4
PANTHERS 1 for 3

Game Stars
1 - Brendan Shanahan (PAN)
2 - Ed Belfour (PAN)
3 - Todd White (PAN)

note: The Panthers still have the worst PK in the entire CPHL
