My buddy walked into the Sony Store in Deerfoot Meadows last week and bought a 60gig model off the shelf (well, behind the counter) without a pre-order. If you look hard enough you will probably find one.
Honeslty an EB games in town had a couple yesterday afternoon (not sure which ones as I didn't care) and so did Future Shop. Even when in stock right now they are moving slowly according to the people on the floor of various stores. 360 bundles however are flying out the door. EB sold two bundles while I was there for a few minutes yesterday and Future Shop sold 3 360 bundles from what I saw.
Gran Turismo HD was cancelled the other day. Mid to late 2008 for a GT5. One of Sony's big exclusive franchises will not be available for potentially 2 years. That hurts. And i don't think they dropped it because people were upset at the potential cost to the consumer. I can't help but wonder if they are just having trouble getting things to work properly on the PS3. Everyone else is.
