What goes through these peoples minds? A woman that out of touch should suffer the same fate. Now only if we can find a microwave big enough.

We should hold ourselves to a higher standard though...lock her up and throw away the key.

Wow... One thing I will never comprehend is how a parent can so maliciously harm their own child. Yes, as parents we sometimes go to far, maybe yell a little too loud, or snap a little too quickly.
But to kill your own flesh and blood by putting them in the microwave??? I'm sorry, but I simply have no comprehension of what would cause a parent to do that.

This woman is sick........
I hope she's never let back into society. Find her a small cell and throw away the key!

Iam sure she will claim termporary insanity and get a few years in an insitution, or just plea baragin down to manslaughter....I am sure she will be back on the outside and in front of a microwave in less then 10 years.

I'm confused by the "no external burns" thing...? Whatever temperature the internal organs reached, the skin would have to have been significantly hotter.
On the other hand, how did the authorities rule out the use of a bathtub with 50°C water? That would cause hyperthermia without burning the skin.
I want more details!

Someone who does this has to missing a few brain cells. I have no doubt there's some mental illness involved. Like, what sane person would stick a child in a microwave? I just hope the doctors keep her away from society for a long time.

Awful story, but I'm not sure we should be so quick to rush to judgement. Generally, infanticide is not caused by people being morally weak, or "bad" people, but by post-partum psychosis, an extreme form of post-partum depression that can lead to delusions and hallucinations and often cause women to harm themselves or their baby. It's a problem that society needs to be more aware of.
It's the one time where "temporary insanity" isn't a made-up defense--for some mothers it's completely legitimate. And when you think about it, what mentally healthy person would harm their own child?

She'll likely claim post-pardem depression and get let off easy with a stint in a mental hospital. Sickening.

That is ****ing sick. This isn't the first time I have heard a story like this either. There was one in Texas a few years back. Absolutely disgusting. I don't know how someone can kill another individual, let alone their own child.......especially by sticking them in the microwave. I seriously wonder sometimes about some of the people in this universe. Some people are ****ed up! Disgusting.
