Does anybody have recommendations for video editing software/hardware? I have a VHS-C camcorder that I use to shoot my nephews/nieces sporting events and things. I would like to import them to my PC, edit them and burn to DVD. I have tried the Pinnacle Dazzle software. Wasn't too impressed with the quality and the thing took hours to burn. I am now using DVD express and ULead DVD Movie Factory and have found it pretty tough to use....

Any suggestions?

I used to edit videos in high school with, I think it was Adobe Premier? Not absolutely sure. Anyway, I don't know about quality or whatnot but I remember it being pretty-user friendly.

Although, I have nothing to compare it to.

Windows Media Movie Maker? Its the only thing I've ever tried but found it pretty easy to use. Good for home movies and the like.

I used Ulead 8.0 I think. ulead.com has the demo version helps in video editing and such. I used it mostly for cutting out clips from movies for powerpoint presentations.

Premiere is awesome. It's the only program I use for video editing. It's expensive but there is a 30 day trial on Adobe's website.
