Search Feature Issue

Hey everyone...just had a quick question about the search feature. I for the life of me cannot put in the 6 digit/letters in the picture opposite when it asks me to, and as a result cannot search for anything.

I was looking for a thread a month or two ago about investment brokers and simply cannot figure that damn thing out!

(The issue at stake is that I am color blind and have a hell of a time differentiating the numbers/letters....I'm sure its easy for the rest of you folk, I wonder if anyone else has had this issue?)

the trick is to be logged in...then you don't have to type in the string...if you're not logged in, searching is pretty much impossible because the string is so hard to read

You aren't the only one. I'm not color blind and I still can't figure out those scrambled letters. Other sites using that feature seem a lot easier to read.

In the next version of the forum software they're supposed to be implementing this:

It's a captcha, but it uses scanned images of words in books to help digitize those books. Pretty cool, and a bit easier to read.
