On heels of Miss USA, Miss Nevada goes wild...
I for one welcome our new breed of Miss USAs, States and Worlds
Miss Nevada is being investigated for lewd sexual conduct at drinking establishment. Hmmm, looks like her reign as Miss Nevada 2007 may take a hit.
Though it makes you wonder who is picking these people....
This is very Not Safe for Work....Linking to my site cause I have all the pics set up, sorry.
Again, Not Safe for Work....But interesting....
Mods feel free to delete if too racy....
Cheers,
Ryan

I honestly don't see what the big deal is. It's such a double standard that's existed for years and years. Soldiers come back from war, often fighting for empty causes, lining other people's pockets with money, killing innocents and we consider them heroes. A beauty queen kisses another girl and all of a sudden SHE'S the bad influence?
Now don't get me wrong, some wars are worth fighting. But it still amazes me how comfortable we are with war and violence and how much we fear sex and sexuality.
The girl exposed her breasts and kissed another girl? Well done, I say!

For amusement, this column on the Miss USA/Trump thing appeared yesterday in the New York Post . . . . and even by trashy tabloid standards its way over the top . . . . and written by a woman.
A snippet:
WITH her delicate breast heaving softly and her tears scattering like rose petals, Miss USA vowed that - from this day forward - she'll keep her nose clean.
And her urine sweet.
And - to employ my current favorite euphemism - her cooch untouched by human hands.
Miss USA has been saved. God bless Donald Trump!

Haha! I saw a tidbit and Trump and Rossie O'Donnell getting into a war of words over this whole scenario. Quite comical!

The best is Trump's statement that he released about Rosie O'Donnel after she criticized him for this being nothing more than a publicity stunt.
He called her a fat slob who talks like a truck driver. I'll have to try and find a clip of it. It's pretty funny.

He also said that it would be fun to sue her and take her money out of her fat ass pockets. I saw the clip on CNN last night.

ok explain to me how the swimsuit competition adds to the upstanding, honourable, and non-objectifying nature that judging others beauty
but showing that last little bit of skin and sticking out your tongue (into the same space another's female tounge happens to be) is so much worse?
Good on you I say... that's the example all women that age should be follwing (MQS now sits back and prays he never has a daughter or daughters LOL)

***************THIS JUST IN****************
young women at the center of attention misbehave sometimes

girls under 21 sometimes get into the bar
***************THIS JUST IN****************
when the television downloads slutty behaviour and female empowerment some might take the queue and act accordingly

These girls have probably been involved in beauty pageants since they were 6. That they grow up to be objectified and then live up to that image? Whoduvthunk?

Looger -
That's great and all, but someone who is supposed to be an upstanding citizen, representing a State, doing work for the community? Like Britney, Paris and Lindsay they are supposed to be "role models" not just 21 year old girls....

with cameras around a 21-year-old girl, ANY 21-year-old girl, i think the results wouldn't be that different on a sample of say 1000.
there'll be some good girls and some bad girls.
difference? the cameras and the media attention. the idea of newspapers making it an issue, and people buying those papers to 'get the low-down', IS THE ISSUE.
