Man, my favourite part of Everybody Loves Raymond. Too bad.

That article is all I have found so far. I think its fairly new news, so might not find out until the evening news or something.

He was great. I was never really a fan of Everybody Loves Raymond, but he guest starred on one of my favourite X-Files episodes.
Sad news.

He was on Carlos Mencia show recently and his health had really deterioriated since I last saw him on TV. It thought at the time he had suffered a stroke but I guess not. Sad news, he was a funny, funny man

I liked him in Young Frankenstein and also weirdly enough in Outland which is a movie I like even though it's a movie I'd be in tough describing why on earth I think it's worth watching. And I did like watching Everybody loves Raymond for a couple of years before I got bored with it and he was great.
Gotta admire a guy who gave us many belly hurtin laughs in his career.

That's sad to hear. 71 isn't really that old.
He was great on ELR. Actually I thought all the character's on that show were really well done.
RIP

I'm very sad to hear about this.
I thought that Boyle had looked sick in the last few seasons of Raymond and wondered at the time whether he had had a stroke.
Young Frankenstein remains one of my favourite movies and Boyle's role as the monster was perfect. So sad that Madeline Kahn, Marty Feldman, and now Peter Boyle have passed on.
RIP Peter Boyle

One of my all time favorite comedies.
I didn't realize Madeline Kahn had passed.
Peter Boyle brought many a smile to my face over the years.
