Last year, when I'd put my seasons seats on Calgary puck (section 221) people would snap them up in minutes, no matter what day it was, and who the Flames were hosting. This year, it seems I can't give them away!

I know it's the Blues, and I know it's a Tuesday night, but seriously, last year I would put these tickets on here for games against Minnesota on a Monday night, and people would be chomping at the bit, just to go to Flames game at face value.

I also looked on Ebay, and there's quite a few decently priced tickets on there for the game tonoight, at or below face value, with little to no interest.

What Gives? Is our fanbase that fickle, that the Flames need to be in first place, and one of the top teams in the NHL for interest to be high? Plus, we're goin for 5 in a row! Anyways, that's my rant for the day.

last year people hadn't seen hockey in over a year. The novelty has worn off for most. Expecting tickets for a sub-par team to sell in minutes is asking wayyy too much.

Well, I saw your tickets, but figured they would already be gone. As you say, Last year tickets were snapped up. When tickets went on sale I didn't even get a sniff at any - I was SOL. I guess I figured it was just as bad this year, so if I didn't get them early I wouldn't even try.

Another thing would be that am email went out to the people on the Flames mailing list, so people who were interested probably got them through there.

As it is, now knowing you say tickets aren't being snapped up, I'll be sure to ask even if they have been listed a few ours. But for tonight I already have plans.

Well I didn't expect them to sell in minutes, I was just saying that was the case last year. But anyways, it's funny, cause I also have these tickets on ebay (for the same price), and right after I made this thread, I got an e-mail saying they had been sold, and I just put them on an hour ago, lol!

...Bobblehead, if you like the seats I have , and the price, just keep me in mind, cause we are looking to get rid of a good number of games this year...stupid school and work, lol.

A much bigger market on ebay than CP.

Personally I like it this way. I use to like the fact I could buy extra tickets on gameday. I have 3 season seats and today I needed another ticket so I tried Ticketmaster.ca and got a ticket in the section my seats are in

I put up tickets to tonites game and got someone to take them within 5 minutes, through Paypal no less. Then again I only asked $50 for two which is below face value

Funny, most people I know with seasons schedule their lives around the games and get sick and tired of people asking for their seats. Never even thought to check here for tickets, I'm looking for a pair sometime in the next couple of months to go with a friend from down under. Guess I'll have to keep checking the buy and sell forum.

Last year, i basically scheduled my whole existence around the Flames. There were very few things that could keep me from going to a game. Unfortunitly this year I started school, plus I have to work, so making all the games is pretty tough.
