Woah, Woah, Woah.....waaaaaay too much text in this post.

I'd answer your question, except I couldn't be bothered to read the entire post.

Short attention span and all....

I will admit I am way to lazy to read long and technical posts, that means I hardly ever read Cowpersons and Lanny's simply because they are too much like my poli sci textbooks. I get enough of that at school.

No offense to you guys, because you guys are geniouses.

For me it all depends on the topic. if it really interests me I'll read everything that is said in the thread.

It depends. I read mostly all the Calgary Flames related stuff, especially those indepth prospect updates that various posters give now and then, I love reading that stuff. I enjoy the political threads but sometime.. oh boy, its too much, I usually just skim through those, especially when the thesis answers start coming out.

Yep, I'm lazy, that's why I stay away from all those extensive political posts on the OT board. Waaaaaay too much reading.

Lately it seems i'm just reading the off topic forum. With nothing in the horizon for NHL hockey i've just lost all interest. Except for the Medvedev posts. hehehe. I really want to know if a big fat guy make it as a NHL goalie. I've always wondered why they don't put someone 600lbs in net and just block everything.

I love reading stuff like people's stories from road trips, but the political threads.. yikes. I think with all the new forums a much better split would have been made by having 'politics' instead of 'local hockey scene'.

Anyone remember NuckfaninTO or whatever his name was? Never made it through a single one of his posts.

Then you're doing the right thing in not reading them.

I know cow double spaces most of his still, having like 8-20 paragraphs a post, but I just skim them, I read other peoples posts who aren't so spaced tho.

I skim almost everything. Unless I see loads of replies (quotes) to a particular post, then I go back and read it as there must have been something interesting said somewhere.....

Not the greatest method but it saves me from falling asleep during a Cowperson/Lanny argument (to which my method doesn't seem to apply as the quotes to replies often take up complete pages of text).

I also read Betruzzied's posts to see how many times he puts hehehehehe at the end of 'em (I have too much time on my hands sometimes)

If I'm interested in the subject (which, given that I've clicked on the subject heading) I tend to read every word. I think a lot of the problems in message board debates come because lazy bas**rds don't read everything, reply, and completely miss the point, thus stirring the pot even more.

Reading is your friend!

If I'm late in on a subject sometimes I'll skim a little. But the most lazy thing I'll do is not go to a link if posted in, say, a political thread and read all that. I like the summarizing about the link more so. Not exclusively but a lot..
