Help me out CPers - Autographed Jersey dilema
I've got a Red Wings replica jersey with 9 and Howe on it, signed by the man a few years ago during his book launch, so it does not come with any papers or anything - just my word...
I'm being offered a Flames replica jersey with the entire 2005 squad signatures, not sure if its authenticated or backed up by paperwork, but I believe this one is in the same boat as me.
Buddy with the Flames jersey is a Red Wings fan, I'm a Flames fan...
Fair trade? One sided? And if so, in whos favour?
I'm torn, please help me out...

Depends what you want the jersey for. If you want the most valuble one, keep the Howe jersey. But if your a huge Flames fan I'am sure that jersey would hold a lot more sentimental value for you....its a judgment call.

If it was the 2004 Flames team- the one that went to the cup finals- then I'd say maybe make the trade.
The Howe jersey is unique; and you have a story to tell with it. I would keep the Howe one.

I'm not sure what you are basing the decision on. If you want a Flames jersey to support your team then make the deal. If you are talking value then personally I don't care about that so no comment. If you are talking a cool jersey then it's the Howe one in a landslide.

I'd keep the Howe as well. Like Ken said, I'd only consider this trade if it was the 03-04 team.

I would keep the Howe jersey over the Flames jersey. If it is the Flames jersey that is signed by the entire team in the 03-04 run to the Stanley Cup I would think about it, but in the end I would go with the signed Howe jersey.

I like having autographed swag that has a good story to it. Buying/trading just doesn't have the same appeal to me.
I'd say keep the Howe Jersey.
If you want a Flames Jersey signed by the team, just go down to a practice.

Keep the Howe jersey. It is not even close IMO.
And if you really do want to trade I have a Flames red jersey signed by Iginla, Kiprusoff, Lydman, Donovan, Gelinas, Gauthier, Leopold, Turek, Ference, Commodore, and Lombardi. It was signed during the playoff run in 2004.
I will swap you that if interested.

You have a auto Howe jersey? Lucky ****
Auto Howe will be worth a fortune forever. A team signed Flames jersey is worth something for this season.
I have an auto Kiprusoff and Iginla with COA, I'd be happy to swap either for the auto Howe.
