Worst website ever made. Grey text on a black background, with an extremely small video and low volume. And on shockwave no less.
Must have been made on a mac

A machine is a machine is a machine. There are bigots out there on both sides of the fence and its never going to change. Something these idiots should understand is that computers only do what computers are told to do. Anyone who works in end user support will tell you that that the most common errors on any system are "keyboard interface" related (that magical space between the user and the keyboard). These are commonly tracked through the use of specialized knowledge base catchalls like "Identification Ten Tee" Error (ID10T or IDIOT) or B.D.U. Errors (Brain Dead User). The biggest problem with computers are the morons who attept to use them.

The Macintosh is a very good system and in my experience easier to support than the PC. Macs are much more intuitive to use and require less training. OSX has become a little more of a challege, but it is still infinitely easier than the PC or UNIX. Unfortunately when a Mac bombs it is a mother to fix. Fortunately they don't bomb with the regularity of the PC.

PCs are great because there is a massive number of resources to use when research when the system takes a dump. Its awesome to know that there are thousands of other people out who have experienced the same agony you are going through and have already discovered the fix.

The guy's rant is indeed funny. All the things he whines about can be applied, much easier might I add, to the PC and are things that I saw in spades during the years I worked and managed support teams. I think all machines are great and have distinct advantages over others. But the thing I like most about them is the dumb chucks that use them and create all those system support jobs out there. As long as there are computers, there are going to be users. As long as there are people trying to use computers there are going to be complaints about how the "computer screwed up". Its a never ending cycle and it doesn't matter what system you are using it is going to happen. Now if we can only find a way to stop having all those support jobs outsourced to India we'll be laughing!

I use a mac. I have had no complaints since I switched to my iBook. I acutally like it better than a PC. The only thing I reall miss is doing the upgrades on PC since I like playing around with them. I'll never switch back personally. I may buy a cheap tower just so I can run .exe progams and maybe make it into a PVR type system. And still use my mac as my main computer.

I do agree with Lanny a computer is a computer. It all depends on what you use it for. I do alot a graphic designs and am getting into the DVD editing and music editing software that comes with the macs as well. For a inexpensive computers, that can be upgraded, PCs are the way to go.
