Default Are you "Dull" and happy to say it?

Online club for Dull men

For those looking for safe excitement, November is fig month at the Dull Men's Club - a place in cyberspace for men who feel "born to be mild" and enjoy watching grass grow and photographing garden sheds.

Being dull, it's nice, because as I get older I'm discovering that more and more I don't really need windows to be happy. A nice smooth white wall is just fine. Very predictable and soothing. Plus all the benefits of not having to deal with distractions.

http://www.dullmen.com/Ants.htm

Dear DMC,
Living the "dull" life I have has shown me that the ants always get busy just before it rains, and if there are hardly any ants out in the day it will be a hotter day tomorrow.
I am glad I have found that there are other people who see more to life than racing cars and jet boats than me [two exclamation points removed] I knew you were out there [three exclamation points removed] Its just that I was, and you all were too busy doing other fun things to bump into each other [exclamation point removed]

Captain Caveman

i'm thinking that this started as a joke, but some actual dullmen started to post!

I love to learn and spend hours on wikipedia learning a huge amount of useless knowledge (did you know pearls melt in vinegar?) but i wouldn't say i was dull but is it not for me to say. I prefer to think of myself as the life and soul of my bookclub :P

I don't know if we are geeks or lazy or dull Tim. Maybe a combo of all three. I spend so much time on messageboards, playing fantasy hockey, carting my kids to arena's all over town and sitting around there watching them and playing games on my PDA.

Good grief did I not use to play in a basketball league twice a week? YEP Also went and played raquetball etc. Fart a lazy dull geek might be my handle now.

Message boards can be terribly addictive, I'll spend upwards of two hours sometimes without realizing it.

While i am at work there is pretty much nothing else to do apart from visit the message boards of my favourite teams and link surf some interesting things on wikipedia sometimes too. The website that sucks the life out of you is definately b3ta.com, i can spend 4 hours straight just reading all the funny stories over there. Apart from ebing at work i am hardly ever on the net. I don't watch that much tv (i do download the shows i like to watch when i can) and i never read anything apart from the newpapers in the morning. Although i spend a lot of time socializing, entertaining and just plain partying because of my jobs i am still definately a geek/nerd etc. I wouldn't say any of us are dull but that is not for us to say.

We are the cool.
