The St. Louis Blues pulled a big trade today that sent JP Dumont and a 2nd rounder to the Boston Bruins in exchange for power forward Todd Bertuzzi. In a trade that took several hours, lots of Rockstar and bad chinese food, it was finally hammered out with a long list of 'insurance' clauses for the Blues.

(Big Bert looks to add strength and toughness to the Blues lineup)
Bertuzzi had the following to say, "Well i guess things weren't working out for me and the Bruins so a change was needed. I guess i was that change, and hey that's business and the game of hockey. I'm coming to St.Louis, a team that's on the verge of having a good season and loaded with young superstars. I look forward to playing with them and perhaps making a statement here. My beautiful wife Julie is actually from St. Louis so it works out well."

(Mrs. Bertuzzi who is from St. Louis.)
The Blues are happy to have Todd as a part of their team, and he will be in the lineup as soon as possible.
