Default Joe Thorton calls out Sens GM..

All star center Joe Torton held a small press conference after practice today and he stated that he is dissatisfied with the lack of moves made by Senators Gm Radically Red .

"Last season we finished 7th overall and now we're the worst team in the east. Last season we had guys like Turco, Sakic and Amonte...now all we have are a bunch of washed up old guys and a bunch of kids. I want to win now damn it, and if Red and Playfair can't help me do it, well then I think it would be best for the team to move me now before it gets ugly." Said Joe before storming off to his car

AA rep Kevin Jarvis could not be reached for comment at this time.

Meh, with Thorntons past season history he'll put up the same point totals regardless if the Sens are in the playoffs or not.

Not sure what it would take to land him, but I probably don't have what it takes with out giving up my depth.

Before you wolves get too hungry... Thorton has a contract with the Sens, and must play out that contract. It's the Mike Ricci clause in every CPHL players contract. So, unless Red says he's trading him... Joe is a Sen until July 1.

Easy there collective tigers!

So agents can still bitch about it. Let it be known that Joe is un happy and may not resign.

Rumors of Joe's Discontent are grossly overstated.

Joe and the Red had a great talk and he knows our plans and wishes to be apart of them. Even he is not sure why his Agent chose make a comment like this...

Thorntons response to this meeting was simple he went out scored a goal and an assist and led his team to the biggest offensive output of the season.

Sure we had the likes of Turco, Sakic last year. But what did that get us. I quick first round exit from the playoffs. Losing Game seven without even putting up a fight. Joe knows he is expected to lead this team.

Can't blame Joe for wish be apart from the Sens. Send him to Chicago, he will love it here. He can be part of our plans.

It Obvious why he is not in the Windy City.. He is not a fan of the Hawks GM...

He see's how you covet Dan and wishes to avoid having you stalk him as well.
