Default HELP! Bell PVR problems

Ok, i just got the Bell 9200 HD PVR and the HD programming is out of this world, especially the hockey.

My problem is everything I recorded with the PVR is glitchy. Every minute or so (and sometimes more frequent) it breaks, hte picture and the sound.

Its terribly frustrating. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it?

Firmware check:
On your remote:
Menu
6
1
3

Should say somewhere on that screen "Software: V144"

Reboot- press and hold the power button until the unit powers off. (about 15 seconds.) Then wait for it to power back up on its own and you can see the TV show.

To power off, press the power button once, wait 30 seconds, then unplug. Make sure the TV stays on during this part; as it might mention something about updating. Whatever you do do not unplug it if it says it wants to update. Just let it.

thanks, did all that ... but when i unplugged it, the "BELL" screen saver never left the TV.... odd? EDIT: ugh, i think i unplugged the dish, not the reciever .. i hope that doesnt cause a problem. i didnt realize they plugged my dish into the wall in my living room.

anyhow, i will check the PVR now, thanks for the help. i had v144 by the way.

and holy smokes is HD hockey insanly awesome!
