Concert tickets

I know for hockey games, they release tickets in batches after the initial release, sometimes up into and including the day of the game.

Anyone know if they do this for concerts as well? Has anyone actually gotten a pair of last minute concert tickets before?

I really want Paul Brandt tickets.

This does happen sometimes. I got GA floor tickets to U2 the last time they were in town the day of the concert. Just phone ticketmaster around noon on the day of and then check back every hour or so.

May times they also release seats they hold back until they're able to determine what's going to be blocked by their set/back-drop and what isn't. Other times it's simply an effort to foil scalpers charging a premium on the doorsteaps of the venue.

I'm looking for Paul Brandt tickets too, but I have horrible luck at calling in to radio stations game.
If you hear anything about tickets being released, let me know please!
He really needs to do 2 shows.
