I guess I can chalk it up to having much more pressing matters on my mind this fall, but usually this time of year I've got a killer halloween costume idea fully in the works, ready to be unveiled in all it's ghoulish glory.
This year I got nothing.....
I thought I might do something to commemerate the playoff run. I'm contemplating getting in full playoff garb (facepaint, flamin C's, bullhorn, flag a' waving, the whole nine yards) and investing in a pair of faux plastic breasts...big ones...haha... I call it me "The Ladies of the Red Mile" or simply "Shirts off for Kiprusoff".
My friend argued the sense in buying a pair of fake boobs, when I have a perfectly functional set of my own. I told him to ###### off.
But seriously, anyone else got there costume figured out yet?

anyone ever gone to that Project X they have going on every year? It's been going on for a few years now...this year it's supposed to be "no kids allowed".
*shrugs*
I've never gone. Could be fun. I friggen love Halloween.

Wow going back a few years aren't you. I still have a set of Russian Spetznatz (sp?) cammo utilities and the beret that I got in a trade years ago. I wanted to get thier utility webbing but couldn't get my hands on it.

I think there will be a lot of people dressed as Martha Stewart in her prison uniform this year.

I've always likes the clever costumes myself, like glueing smarties to your pants (Mr Smarty pants) or strapping a vibrator to your head (di*k head).
Simple, yet effective.

funny one I heard was a guy in a tweed suit with a lampshade on his head (the funniest man alive/at the party)
actually, last year I saw some people as a stop sign, a merge sign, a street lamp (functional too), and a yield sign. They were made out of foam rubber, and were really, really well done.

Wow calf, I just realized something.
There was a time during the summer when I was just a smidge behind you in posts....wtf happened?
Your an animal!
Methinks your endless contributions to the TPBM and other mindless threads might have had somthing to do with it.

Hobo possibly. If I do I'll have the alcohol in a brown paper bag!! Makes it even more realistic.
I doubt I'll do that though...went as a hobo last year.

meh - I don't put any stock into the whole post count thing. Useless threads definately added to it, I guess. All in good fun...but seriously, how much fun would this board be (some might disagree), during the lockout, to only have off-topics on Iraq, George Bush, etc.
But hey, good luck with finding a good halloween costume (back on topic)....your ideas are pretty good. Halloween's definately one of my fav holidays (esp when it's the day after my b-day...double the reason to "celebrate").
One question I have: what's the best bar to go to on Halloween? I'm not a big fan of pub crawls, and the last couple we went to Roadhouse and it sucked...Coyotes maybe?

All I know is I'm growing a moustache. I don't know what for, but whatever it is it will include a gigantic hair lip.

I'm just gonna wear a suit, pomade my hair back, and wear a dress hat like I'm from the 30's. Since I already have everything (but the hair stuff), it's not going to cost me much extra.
