Who else watches this show? No one I talk to has ever heard of it and I freakin love it, best show on TV IMO.

If you dont know, its Dennis Leary starring as a NYC firefighter...amazing show, should be on showcase right now in Calgary if i remeber correctly(maybe just finished i forget)

Yeah, its a good show, but I find I never watch it often enough. Lots of hockey in it since Leary is a huge hockey fan.

They have NYPD vs. FDNY all the time etc...

I loved the episode when his dad's GF died and left all her money to the cats. lol.

I like dark humor and what not but this show was do dark for me. I watched it for the first 2 seasons but they lost me in season 3. I could no longer feel any empathy towards Denis Leary's character or anyone else on the show. With no one to "root for" I tuned out.

I'm already done watching Season 3. Showcase only started showing the third season after it finished showing in the U.S. on their channel FX so I just downloaded the torrents.

I love Rescue Me. One of my favourite shows. The fact that they have cameos by Esposito and other hockey players makes it even better.

Yeah tonights episode had another NYPD vs FDNY game and Tommy(Leary) sh** kicked some cop!! lol

The best eppy in that regard was the one when Leary brought out a character named Mongo I think, that was played by Cam Neely, as a ringer.

Rescue Me is one of my favourite shows on TV. Love the whole concept of Leary's character, especially the fact that he sees dead people.

Also a big fan of the hockey, they already had two Boston greats in Neely and Espo show up, wonder if they'll get others...
