Default help .. creating a jpg

Ok ... i have rudimentry skills and tools, but i managed to create a logo in a Word document.

how do i convert that to a jpg file though? i dont want all the background area, simply the logo, but cant figure it out. i tried using Paint to create a bmp, but then i get the whole "screen" as the image and i just want the area around the logo.

help?

I really suck at this stuff but I would print it off as a PDF file and then open the PDF and do a "Save as" a JPG. Probably not the best way but it works.

i tried that and it becomes pixelated in the conversion from .doc to .pdf.

Put the whole logo in a text frame, select the frame, "copy", open MS Paint, "paste", save as JPG

Another way is to do a "Print screen" then paste it into MS Paint and crop out what you don't need.

Not the best way, but works for me most of the time.

Download Gimp. Open source alternative to photoshop. Or just send me your logo.
