Old wine stain in carpet

Would steaming help bring out some of it, if not all? If not, is there any way to get rid of wine stains?

It may have a bad song and "infomercial" feel about it's website but this stuff did wonders on old paint and wine stains in carpet for me. No trace left whatsoever.

I got it at Benjamin Moore paint store, but I think Walmart also carries it now.
