Default Cell Phone Question

Okay, so I have a personal cell phone (RAZRVc3) on Telus mobility, I also have a work cell phone Sanyo with Bell. Is it possible to have more than one line on a telus phone, I realize I can forward one to the other, but I would like to carry my personal phone only(smaller nicer) but not pay fees on my telus account everytime I get a work call. I think Bell uses telus's network, can I just add the Bell account to my telus phone, or is this a pipe dream?

It is possible to have more than one line on a cell phone. Bell and Telus do use the same technology but they both closed networks that will not accept foreign phones.

In march number portability will be coming out. This will allow you to take a Bell number to Telus or vice versa. Also this may shake things up a bit and force companies like Telus and Bell to start allowing foreign phones (but still ulikely).
