Too Many Dmen

Training Camp is coming to a close and there are 3 players vying for the 7th defense spot on the roster. Dempsey (OV70), Montador(OV71), and Fahey (OV72) have been told that while we have cap room and space on the team roster we'd like to be fair to them and find them a place to play for the season. We are either looking for 4th line depth at forward or picks. Catch me online.

Well with a flury of trades the Canadiens have made three deals inlvolving Dmen.
Jim Fahey has gone in exchange for a 3rd round pick.
Brent Sopel has been moved along with Robert Nilsson for M-A Bernier, Todd White and a 4th round pick
Robert Esche and a 2nd Round Pick have been moved for Francois Beauchemin and Patrick Lalime.

So Dempsey and Montador are still battling for that 7th spot.
Handzus, Madden, White and Halpern are also available for similar type players that can fill in on the right side.
