New session of parliment

Of course, I'm sure most people (at least the Canadians on here) are already aware of how the Conservatives are saying that they plan to force amendments to the throne speech, and could get his MPs to vote against it if they don't get their way.

Now, does anyone else feel that this is almost certain to be the most useless government in the history of the country (both Liberals and PCs at fault here). I mean, the session only started today, and already the Conservatives are threatening to try to send the country back to the election, and the Liberals are refusing to concede anything. I think it's going to be even shorter than Clark's infamous nine-month government.

If the Liberals are going to try and ram through something that the majority of people in the legislature do not want, then the Liberals should not be in power. Simple as that.
