Sabres Season Preview
With the recent arrival of F Jochen Hecht and D Nolan Pratt, the Sabres look ready to begin the preason schedule.
Look for them to break camp with the following lineup

Nikolishin/Peltonen Taylor/Endicott Vrana/Belak

While this team may not seem amongst the elite on paper, several aspects of it have hopefully been put together for good chemistry and results. Ron Wilson had the team playing a very up tempo style in the preseason tourney resulting in a lot of shots and goals (especially from the Gelinas/Lombardi/Letowski third line), but giving up too many shots. Solid defensive players Endicott, Hecht and Pratt have been acquired to help turn the tide defensively. Look for Ron Wilson to use the preseason to determine best chemisty amongst his top 6 forwards, and identify which 3 guys make the 4th line.
