Default .AC3 audio on a mac?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to play a video that is encoded with .ac3 audio and I can't get it to play on my mac. I tried to put the codec in the /library/quicktime folder (one that i downloaded) and it didn't do anything. Video works, no audio.

Any suggestions, or is this even possible?

Thanks.

PS

I do have DivX and no workie.
