i never watch the mainstream news channels so i've never seen this guy, but he has to be one of the most intelligent persons in the media that i've seen in a long time. if there were more people like him in the media maybe the mainstream news outlets like MSNBC and CNN would be worth watching, instead of being the garbage spewing "young white girl of the week" stations they are now

Don't Know who Olbermann is? He used to be an ESPN anchor, and still works daily with Dan Patrick on the Dan Patrick show on ESPN Radio. Super intelligent, and very witty. Thumbs up, Olbermann!!!

When I first read the topic title I had assumed he was debating Rumsfeld. That was a good rant, and I always love whenever someone decides to kick Neville Chamberlin right square in the balls.

Its unfortunate he is on the lowest rated news channel in the US - MSNBC. FNC should pick him up - he would be a good in the Greta time slot.

Brilliant.

Olbermann didn't comment on this, but I was wondering when I read the transcript of Rummy's speech... Rummy commented about the world appeasing Nazi Germany. Now correct me if I am wrong, but the States didn't join the fight in WW2 until '41 over 2 years after the commonwealth and much of the world was fighting them off. And, perhaps going against certain textbooks, only because they couldn't profit on the war any longer and got dragged in.

Where is this moral ground that the U.S. so staunchly defends? How canny Rummy preach against appeasment when his own nation proffited from and showed up late to the largest war in history?

No, it's more liberal attacks from a think tank that has demonized certain words and certain ways of thinking. They are the true fasicists.
