Default Hiking in Switzerland? Dont hug the Cows!!!

Keep your distance. Avoid eye contact. And even if it looks cute, never hug a Swiss cow.

hmmm...must be those Chocolate milk cows we keep seeing on TV commercials...they get no respect!

Dont pet our Cows!

Hahaha, great article.

I was hiking in switzerland last year, Interlocken specifically, and between enjoying the purest air I've ever breathed, and some of the best cheese I've ever eaten, we ran into some cows. A whole bunch of cows. On a steep hillside, meandering on the path. It was so weird, just big doofy cows, but not like I'd grown up with at the stampede. They were actually quite beautiful. They also looked very strong and menacing.

Eventually they cleared out of the way and went down the hill. It was pretty interesting watching cows walk down a steep embankment. I didn't think they could do it.

That's the end of my little story.

Lots of cows graze in K-Country in the summer. It is strange to see cattle around the campgrounds like Cataract Creek.

I don't know if you've been or not, but the environment and terrain is very similar. Made me yearn for the Rockies. Oh kananaskis, how I miss thee.

Banff: Bears.

Switzerland: Cows.

I'm not sure why, but I don't feel that threatened.

I would be more worried about the mall cops in Lucerne's underground mall that carry automatic weapons and have dogs that look like horses. The stip clubs are fun as hell and the model train shop a few blocks from the train station is wwwicked.
