Default Unreal end to Dodgers game

Well worth checking out the highlights of this one at mlb.com.

Dodgers trailed 9-5 head to the bottom of the ninth.

They proceed to hit back to back to back to back shots to tie the game. Unreal.

They then trail 10-9 in extras and Nomar hits a 2 run walk off to win it for LA.

I rather wish I had been watching it live...but the highlights are still pretty thrilling to watch.

This game was on Sportsnet West and I started watching the game in the bottom of the 9th when it was 9-6, I saw the 9-7, 9-8 and 9-9 homers. Then saw the 2 run Garciaparra homer in the 10th. I was just flipping channels and lucky I started watching it in the bottom of the 9th at 9-6, but i'm glad i did. Unreal! First time since 1964 a team has gone with the back to back to back to back jacks!

Makes it even more special that they are now in 1st place as they passed the Padres with the win.

I did the opposite. I stopped watching when it was 9-5 in the ninth and went to bed.

Oh well.

Sheesh I stopped when it was 6-4 going to the bottom of the 8th. That Padres bullpen has been money lately....Outside of Cla Meredith I guess it wasn't last night.

Can't stand the Dodgers. They finish up with arch-rivals SF, and I hope the Giants can play spoilers. Knocking the Dodgers out of the playoffs is almost as fun for Giant fans as making the playoffs themselves.

I was really stressed out last night and couldn't relax, so I went to the old standby of listening to Vin Scully call a game and ended up watching from the 7th inning on. Due to work I had to give up a chance to go last night - just my luck I miss the most exciting game of the season

That was incredible!

I was half-asleep just kind of staring at the TV, but after the 3rd homerun I sure as hell woke up.

What made it even more impressive was the magnitude of the game. It leapfrogged the Dodgers into first over the Padres. Talk about some clutch hitting. The chances of ever seeing that again live are slim to none.
