Default Easy CAD software

Has anyone used any of the easy floor plan software that is out there?

Something CAD based for the average guy that doesn't have two years to learn CAD.

Sorry man, I can tell you pretty much anything you need to know about StruCad or Tekla Structures if you want to do structural steel, but know jack about any of the easy floor plan software.

Dia is an open source application similar to Visio. Lots of people use Visio to do floor plans so I'd expect you can do the same with Dia. I had looked at Dia once but didn't really get too deep into it.

Cad Standard offers a free version of their software at www.cadstd.com. I have used this to do plans up for our basement.
