Are there any big names or recognizable names in it? Also, what kind of show is it, like a sitcom or otherwise?
Doesn't really sound like something that would really attract an audience though. I can't see that really having any longevity

If it's on at the same time as Prison Break it's a no-go for me too.

I know I didn't. I'm going to guess you went to school in a small town or small city?
At least they are trying to come up with new ideas; and not another reality show.

I guess I made the assumption is that you live in the same house as it is standard here in Calgary to go to your designated elementary school then to junior high and then to high school. The show is designed as a sitcom with your typical stereotyped characters..........ie the whinny kid, the brainaic, the sensitive one etc.

Really? You guys have a designated school for each level?
I had my choice of 4 Elementary schools, 3 Jr. Highs, and then 4 different High Schools. All of the elementary, Jr High, and 2 of the High schools were within walking distance from my parents' house. And the last time my parents moved I was 2 years old.

Lots of people are from smaller towns which have only one school. In smaller towns I bet 80% of the Kids from Grade 3 graduate together.

I grew up just outside London, Ont, and other than kids who moved away, I can't think of any kids from kindergarden up who didn't go to the same high school.
At that time, my school district surrounded, but did not include London. So anyone south or east of London in the public system (as opposed to the catholic system) had to go to my high school.

You don't get much of a choice now if you live in Calgary. If you live in a community for example Ranchlands............you basically have to go to Elementary School A...........then Junior High A..............then High School A. The only option you might have now is if you go to a Special Setting..........ie Sport School, GATE, etc.

It was a great movie. Captures how important football is to these small-town footballers. The schools suck so sometimes it's literally all they have.
