For those of us who were kids in the late 70s and kids through the 80s
You may get a kick out of this if you were a Sesame Street watcher during those years:

Whoa, that was real? And here I thought someone must have put LSD in my fruit loops.
There are some links to other old Sesame Street clips when that video ends, that are also worth watching.

To this day I can't count to 12 without that song going through my head.

When I used to work in a restaurant we had to do inventory. I would always count up to 12 out loud to the tune of that song. Used to anoy the heck out of my co workers.

Oh that's classic love it. I actually remember that really well and hum it sometimes. Who knew mind altering drugs could be so educational.

Once in a while, when counting aloud, I will break into my best Count impression.
one, two, three, four little dollar bills...ah..aaah..aaaaaaaaaaaaaah

So after seeing that I looked up more Sesame Street stuff. I'm at work now so I can't post a link, but do a search for "sesame street subway." I was watching them sing the old "On The Subway" song when I heard something a little disturbing.
At one point a lady muppet sings "You could lose your purse, or maybe something worse on the Subway."
Do we really need to be telling 5 year olds about rape on a subway system?

Ahhh, the freestylin groovy 70s Sesame Street, nothin finer.
I also found in one of these Chapelle doing a Sesame St bit in his standup - hilarious. (language warning)

Because the "do, do, do ,do" that comes after flows beter than 13, 14, 15 , 16..........
Actually I recall when this came about. The used to count to 10 all the time on the show, and all of a sudden one day they started counting to 20. It must have confused too many people because by the following week they were back to 10, then to 12, then to 15, then to 20.

Awesome. I love how at the end it looks like a "Yes" album cover or something.
