Default CP Poker Profiles

I've seen a lot of people say they play poker 'round these parts, so I thought it might be fun to get some profiles going. Fill out as many as are applicable.
Name: Pete
Favorite Games: NL Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud
Where do you play:
Online, home game at college
Years Played:
One year. Started last year as a Frosh in college playing with my buddies and at campus freerolls.
Favorite Hand(s): 99. You can play it so many ways and I've hit quads with it no less than 5 times.
Strengths: Reading people. Solid play. No afraid to call if I think I'm even the slightest bit ahead. Tournament poker.
Weaknesses: Tight. Cash games. Will tilt on occasion
Big Wins: Won a $20 180 person tourny at Pokerstars. Good for a grand.
Big Tournaments Played: None.
Online Sites: Doyle's Room, Pokerstars
Online Handles: TheLukewarm (Doyle's), WaitingRadio (PS)
Favorite Player(s): Daniel Negreanu
Hated Player(s): Dutch Boyd
Poker Stories/Advice: Dominating your home game is not a sign that you'll dominate online. It's tougher than you might think.

Weaknesses: Some times to over agressive at the begining of a game.
Big Wins: $1,600 home game with 40 people.
Big Tournaments Played: None.
Online Sites: Don't play online at the moment, prefer to lookem' in the eyes.
Favorite Player(s): Daniel Negreanu (gotta root for the candian boy), Unibomber
Hated Player(s): Tony G... just too loud and arrigant for me.
Poker Stories/Advice: Any hand is capable of winning with the right bets and a bit of luck.

Favorite Games: NL Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud hi/low
Where do you play: Online, home games, casino
Years Played: Couple years slow at work in the winter so play a fair bit at the casino when the snow comes
Favorite Hand(s): K-9 or j-9
Strengths: laying down hands in limit hold'em pre flop when they shouldn't be played ie. 9-3 suited
Weaknesses: have hard time laying down monster hands even when it's obvious i'm beat. tilt on occasion
Big Wins: Home games regularly for about 300 each time, 900 limit hold'em sitting at the casino for about4 hours (won 7 hands in a row)
Big Tournaments Played: None.
Online Sites: Ultimate bet, Pokerstars
Online Handles: rttr (UB), Harsch (PS)
Favorite Player(s): Daniel Negreanu
Hated Player(s): Tony G
Poker Stories/Advice: 4/8 hold em at the casino I had the nuts heads up with guy who had second nut (flush ace high against flush king high) I come out betting on the river he raises I re-raise he re-raises, goes on about 2 more raises so I stop to check out the board no pair on the board, no straight flush, just three spades nothing can beat me. Ended up soaking the guy into about 80 bucks on the river for a pot of about 250 would have re-raised the guy more but I felt bad for him so I just called cause I knew he would just keep pumping it ( i guess that could be a weakness)

I don't get it. Poker is on TV a lot and people have favorites of who they like to watch. What's the big deal?

Two and a half. Got my start last year of high school.
Favorite Hand(s): AA. How can it possible be anything else?
Strengths: Fundamentally sound. Almost immune to tilt.
Weaknesses: I'm afraid of large sums of money. This leaves me stuck at a lower level of cash game than I could profitably play otherwise.
Big Wins: I don't play tournaments. But I did win $6000 in the month of May 2006, which was and still is easily my best month.
Big Tournaments Played: None.
Online Sites: I've played 37 online sites. Right now I'm playing the Crypto Network.

Poker Stories/Advice: Here is an excerpt of a post I made at the PSO forums, which includes a few good pieces of advice:

"There are also some very important singular concepts in poker that most players miss but are quite easy to correct. Don't play ace rag. Know when you're beat. Along those lines, take into account reverse implied odds when making a call with a hand before the river. Don't get committed with crap. Before you make a bet, think of what you are trying to accomplish with the bet, and think about what hands will fold to your bet and which ones will call. Sometimes you will realize the bet you were going to make has some negative expectation and no positive expectation, that is to say you will only get called if you're beat. Then realize this is a bad bet, and don't make it."

Favorite Games: NL Texas Hold'Em (big blackjack player too)
Where do you play: Online, home games, Casino
Years Played: 3-4 years
Favorite Hand(s): J 10, i have flopped a boat with K 6 no less than 5 times
Strengths: I play the odds, bet properly and tend to suck in opponents when they are beat. I also like to play a garbage hand here and there and show the hand to keep opponents guessing. Stone faced and very hard to read properly, I like to throw in opposite tells to fool others
Weaknesses: I play marginal hands too often all the way down and I tend to get into betting patterns too easily. I think I get bluffed to often as well. Oh and too much booze playing in home games.
Big Wins: $250 win in a 2 table home tourney, $200 heads up with some cocky son of a gun
Big Tournaments Played: None
Online Sites: Pokerstars, Empirepoker (I don't play for money online, I don't know why, I just don't)
Online Handles: toonmaster13
Favorite Player(s): Gus Hansen, Kid Canada
Hated Player(s): Greg Raymer, he comes off too cocky in interviews for me
Poker Stories/Advice: Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away...........

DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH A K!!

Favorite Hand(s): I love middle pairs. 7-7, 8-8, 9-9
Strengths: Patience, throwing away the right hands pre-flop
Weaknesses: I believe that I get bluffed out too often. Calling lower stacked players all-ins with a flush draw.
Big Wins: $1400 playing Pai Gow in Vegas about 12 years ago. Great game, and great odds.
Big Tournaments Played: About to advance in a giant sattelite tourney for the first time. Top 50 advance and I'm sitting 3/93 right now. 6440 started.

Name: Tyler Fish (get an interesting reaction when you tell people at the table your last name is 'Fish')
Fav Games: Hold 'Em, Hi/Lo Stud is fun
Where do you play: Deerfoot Casino mostly for live games, but lots at Stampede and sometimes Elbow. Pokerstars online.
Years played: My dad taught me the basic rules LONG ago, been playing hold 'em very casually for 6 years, more frequently over the last year and a half.
Favorite Hands: 3-3 and 9-9 are lucky pairs for me, 8-8 is good too. J-9 and K-9 seem to be lucky as well.
Strengths: Very good at reading people, specially in tourney situations (rl) Know my odds.
Weaknesses: Too tight, but have been working on this lately.
Big Wins: Have won more than $400 at a single table both real and online. Took 18th (out of about 220) in the Q77 tourney at the Stanpede in the spring, won 400 bucks and a card shuffler, had my picture in the Sun. Just took first in a 180 person 4 dollar tourney online for 216 bucks tonight. Usually finish in the money in larger online tourneys, but just over the cusp, getting double or triple my buy in. Was playng in satelites for the WSOP, but didn't finish in the running.
Big Tournaments Played: Depends what you call big. The Q77 one I played has a 16,000 grand prize, I finished in the money. Played a 2.4 million online WSOP qualifier last month, but didn't hit the prizes. (BAD LUCK, I had spectators... one of those days you don't get two cards that are even remotely similar.)
Online Handle: Daradon, of course.
Fav Players: Don't have any, Negreanu cause he's canadian I guess. Mattasau is fun to watch, esp when he self destructs.
Hated Players: (shrug)
Poker Sotries/Advice: Too many terrible beats to even go over, one really awesome call on a guy in a tourney, but too long to go into here. Just a lick of advice I guess. If you ever come across me at a table and I raise you and you have a draw... TAKE IT. For some reason, especially lately, I'm getting killed on draws. 2 outs, 12 outs, don't matter. I'll have the nuts till that point and a guy will hit his gutshot to win $200 bucks or take me out of a tournament...

I'm not bitter...

Favorite Games: NL Texas Hold 'em
Where do you play: Online, 'Stacked'
Years Played:
I'd say off and on for about 2-3 years.
Favorite Hand(s): The ladies (QQ) have always treated me nice. Can't think of any crap hands that have done me well. I hate pocket As, the win for me less than half the time I get them.
Strengths: Controlling the table. If you establish dominance when you smell weakness, it's hard to give that up.
Weaknesses: Still a student of the game. Reading people needs work.
Big Wins: $160 at my stag, drunk as hell... and I think only one guy was throwing the game for me
Big Tournaments Played: Finished in the final table of a Calgary Radio tournament, but it started with about 3 tables.
Online Sites: PartyPoker, Paradise
Online Handles: Party - projekt_roy, Paradise - RobAndJam
Favorite Player(s): Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hanson
Hated Player(s): Try and pick up things here an there from everyone I watch, but I would have to say Moneymaker, or that little Costanza looking guy that shows up once and a while on TV, but never wins anything.
Poker Stories/Advice: If don't think you have it, you don't. If you think you do have it, you probably dont.
