Kovalev snaps one over Nabokov in last
seasons playoffs.
Alexei Kovalev will be back in the black and gold this season. The Pens reaquired the star winger for Jamie Langenbruner, Zach Parise and Danny Irmen, draft picks were also exchanged as part of the deal. Kovalev spent time on the Pens 2nd line for the most part of last season, and expects to improve on his 59 points in 68 games that he racked up last year. GM Goffie was unavailable for comment.
