Time Limit for your Bachelor's Degree?
Hey all,
Does anyone know if you have a certain amount of time to finish your Bachelor's Degree at the U of C? I know someone who did all but 3 courses a while ago, and I want to know if these courses 'expire' or become unusable at any point.
I seem to recall there was a time limit of 7 years to get all your stuff done, but have no idea if thats true, or what the consequences of exceeding that time are.
Anyone know anything? The U of C website kind of... sucks. Much appreciated.

Yeah... but this is easier for me. Why do the research when a CalPucker can often fastrack you to the answer? Thats why people ask questions on the board when, really, they could just go find out by themselves.

nah Comp Sci is 7 years due to the fact that basically anything older then 7 years is obsolete by the time you actually finish... the sad thing is the avg. time for a CS degree at UoC is like 5 and a half years or something stupid like that.

Well, for things that 'expire' like com-sci knowledge its 7, for general courses in things that don't change that much (Social Science, General Studies, Art, etc.) its 10 years, at the U of C at least.

I know at the U of A, your transcript is done after 6 or 7 years. I'd bet on 7 years for them to expire.
