Pengrowth, Espirit Energy Trusts Merge

Pengrowth will acquire approximately 18,350 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day of current production, plus 71.7 million BOE of proved and probable oil and natural gas reserves.

The deal also brings 100,000 net hectares of undeveloped land, which has shallow gas and coal-bed methane potential.
