Suggested stickies: useful links and thread HOF

I PMed this to the mods and Jiri suggested I post it here:

'd like to suggest we make a sticky for bookmarking useful links. For instane, the salary tracker on the rangers site, the one posted recently, hockeydb.com, google, NHLPA.com etc and other resources could be listed.

We could also list classic threads, like "horseshoes". It might kind of be redundant because of the "media links" already available, but I'll let you guys decide whether it would work.

Jiri thinks it should be limited to the idea given in the first paragraph. To some extent I agree with him, so I guess these should be considered to be two seperate suggestions:

1. Useful links sticky
2. Hall of Fame threads sticky.

We're looking for your input!

PS. If anyone can make this into a poll with the following options that would be great.

Something like:

"I am in favour of:

- Useful links sticky
- HOF threads sticky
- Both
- Neither"

There was an attempt at a HOF thread sticky, but nobody could agree on what was a classic thread. They all wanted their own idea to be included, and pretty soon the sticky thread was a waste of web real-estate.

The Useful links sticky would be good, but only if it was moderated or only had one or two people actually able to post links in there.

Well the thread could be locked and additional suggested links PM'd to the mods, so that it becomes a very short list of the really useful sites.

I like the idea because there's a few sites that are great resources that I forget about. For instance:
- That site by the Panther fan that seems to track free agents as good as any other site
- NHL Jersey history site
- Euro hockey net transfer tracking (this is where Ramholt was first confirmed for instance).
- Historical attendance figures

These are the type of things I can see being posted there.
